Gareth Bale has no interest in leaving Tottenham for Real Madrid this summer.

A close associate of Bale's has told London Evening Standard the player does not want to move to Spain because of the strong ties to his family.

Bale became a father for the first time last October and is believed to be happy living in the capital with his long-term girlfriend Emma Rhys-Jones.

He has admitted in the past that he likes to visit his family back in Wales whenever he gets time off.

It is one of the reasons why Bale is understood to be keen to stay at White Hart Lane for at least one more season
