World sprint champ Usain Bolt has declared an ambition to join Manchester United in 2016.

Bolt admits being United mad and was a regular visitor to Old Trafford and Carrington in 2010.

"I will become a legend when I defend my title and break new records. And this must happen quickly because in 2016, after the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, I'll retire from racing," declared Bolt.

"I'd like to play soccer professionally in Europe, maybe for Manchester United.

"I am a striker like Samuel Eto'o. He is stronger, but in style of play we are similar."
