Sporting Lisbon insist star attacker Yannick Djalo will not be allowed to leave until the end of this season.

The exciting Portugal international has Tottenham, Newcastle United and Everton all chasing his signature, having come close to leaving Sporting in August.

Genoa will hold talks with Sporting next week, says Record, to discuss Djalo's transfer.

But Sporting officials are adamant they won't be pressured into any January sale. The Lisbon giants are planning to kickstart an auction for Djalo in June and hope to encourage English clubs to maintain their interest throughout the season.
