Sporting Lisbon are moving for released West Ham United striker Guillermo Franco.
The Mexico international is a free agent after coming off contract at West Ham in June.
Franco was in talks with Wigan Athletic and trained with the Premier League club leading up to transfer deadline day. But a deal could not be struck.
A Bola says Sporting have now made a move for the ex-Villarreal star.
