Sporting Lisbon goalkeeper Rui Patricio has reportedly been added to Manchester United's transfer watchlist.
The 22-year old has been highly recommended by Sir Alex Ferguson's former assistant Carlos Queiroz and is also believed to attracting interest from Arsenal and Chelsea.
But United's relationship with Sporting, stemming from the Cristiano Ronaldo and Nani deals, has them as favourite if they do decide to go after the potential replacement for Edwin van der Sar.
However, Ferguson is still very keen on Atletico Madrid's star youngster David De Gea who he would more than likely bring in if it came down to a decision between the two custodians.
