Sporting Lisbon deny they've agreed to sell Diego Capel to Tottenham.

Reports this week suggested a fee had been struck between the two clubs for the Spain international.

But a Sporting spokesman told Record that there have been no negotiations with Spurs to sell Capel.

Liverpool and Swansea City have also been linked with the midfielder.
