Sporting Lisbon insist Ricky van Wolfswinkel is not going anywhere.

A confirmed target for Manchester United and Chelsea, Van Wolfswinkel's agent, Louis Larios, revealed this week that the striker could soon be on the move.

But in reaction, Sporting director Carlos Freitas remarked: "It's a subject that does not deserve any comment. It is only the opinion of Mr. Louis Larios.

"Van Wolfswinkel is properly protected with a five-year contract and a buyout clause valued at €22 million. He is happy at Sporting and is part of our plans."
