Sporting Lisbon will hold on to transfer subject Miguel Veloso after constant speculation regarding his future.

The 22-year old has been linked with Manchester City and Bolton recently but pledged his commitment to the club.

"I am happy at the Alvalade and I will continue to work to help the team achieve what we want. I am committed," he told Sporting's official website.
