Leicester City have returned with an improved offer for Sporting Lisbon star Islam Slimani.
It was reported on Tuesday that the Portuguese giants rejected a £25million bid from the Premier League champions for the Algerian striker.
However, Sky Sports is reporting that the Foxes have had an increased proposal accepted by Sporting and a deal is expected to be completed on Wednesday morning.
Slimani, 28, plundered 27 goals for Lisbon last season and appeared to wave an emotional goodbye to Sporting fans after scoring in their 2-1 win over Porto at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Sunday.
