Two MLS clubs are believed to be showing considerable interest in Blackburn Rovers defender Michel Salgado.
The 36-year old former Real Madrid right-back has been told he can leave Ewood Park with Sporting Kansas City, who he has opened talks with, and Toronto FC at the head of the queue for his services.
Salgado was interested in a big-money move to Asia at one point but with MLS teams now in pursuit, the Spaniard could be persuaded into joining the fast-improving North American competition at the end of the current Premier League season.
