Sporting Kansas City signs SuperDraft selection Hedrick

Sporting Kansas City have announced the signing of 2012 MLS SuperDraft second round pick Cyprian Hedrick.

The 22-year old Cameroon-born defender was taken by SKC with pick number 30 at this year’s draft and have now secured his services after he did well during pre-season training.

"It is an amazing achievement for me, my family and my friends. It has been a very long road up until now, and the road doesn't stop here," Hedrick said.

"It's an amazing feeling, but now it's just time to get to work to stay where I am and keep improving. I love it, I couldn't be happier."
