Sporting Gijon are in talks with Sporting Braga goalkeeper Dani Mallo.

Sporting are desperate to find a new No1 after an injury suffered by Ivan Cuellar and have made contact with the agents of Mallo.

It's understood Mallo can break his contract with Portugal's Braga this month and could join Sporting on a free transfer.
