Sporting Gijon fullback Jose Angel hopes to move to Barcelona after the U21 European Championships.
Talks were suspended last month between the two clubs for Angel.
"Would it be a frustration not signing for Barcelona? I do not know about frustration, but it would be painful, but now I do not care because I'm here with the U21's and I'm just focusing on that," said Angel.
"To go to Barcelona is a big step and it is important for a player like me."
