Sporting Gijon fullback Douglas Pereira has offered advice to Barcelona teammate Aleix Vidal.

Douglas is this season playing on-loan at Sporting and making headlines with his impressive form.

"For Aleix, I'd give advice to keep working, there's no other way," he told Cadena Ser. "Always be fighting, looking for the best, you have to work.

"And when you have your opportunities, you have to take advantage of them in the best possible way."

Douglas scored his first goal in Spain last week.
