Sporting Gijon coach Manuel Preciado insists Nacho Novo is not for sale.

Novo has talked up the prospect of returning to Rangers.

But Preciado said in the Daily Record: "Novo is not leaving in this transfer window.

"The players brought to the club five months ago will be staying. I have faith in them.

"I believe in their ability and there won't be any players quitting this month.

"They are under contract and they will be here at Sporting until at least the end of the season."
