Mate Bilic is set to sign a new contract with Sporting Gijon.
The experienced striker, once of Hajduk Split, will soon pen a contract through to 2012.
Sporting have moved to secure the 29 year-old to a new agreement after rejecting a bumper offer from the UAE's Al-Wahda for the striker.
