Sporting Cristal winger Diego Chavarri admits he would love to play in the USA and possibly even for the national team.
The 22-year old New York-born Peruvian is keen to make the move to Major League Soccer and has also hinted at pushing for national team selection despite never playing on US soil.
Chavarri told goal.blogs.nytimes.com that a move back to his country of birth is something that interest him greatly even though his English is not so good.
"I was born in Queens, don't know exactly where, and moved back when I was 2 months old," Chavarri, who plays in the Peruvian Primera Division.
"I don't know if I could help, but I would love to play in and for the US."
