Tottenham Hotspur knows what they will have to pay if they want to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Adrien Silva.

That is according to the Daily Star, who reports that Spurs are desperate to sign the 28-year old this summer.

Silva has made 165 appearances for the club since 2007, scoring 36 goals and accumulating 18 caps for Portugal during that time.

The Portuguese giants are believed to be lenient on Spurs meeting Silva's £39.5m release clause and could let him go for just £28m.
