Sporting CP are willing to discuss a swap deal with Arsenal for midfielder William Carvalho. The Lisbon giants have spent the summer referring any interested suitor to Carvalho's €45 million buyout clause.
Arsenal have been in contact over the past week and will make a firm bid for the midfielder once their Champions League status is decided tonight against Besiktas.
The Times says Sporting will accept a reduced fee from Arsenal for Carvalho if they can take a player such as Serge Gnabry or Francis Coquelin on loan.
