Sporting CP midfielder Alberto Aquilani intends to end his career in Serie A.

Aquilani admits returning to Roma is an ambition.

“My dream would be to end my career at Roma," Aquilani told Chi in Portugal.

“I know it's something that will be difficult, but in football you never know.

“I have goals here: to get back into the Italian national team, and win the trust of [CT] Antonio Conte."
