Sporting CP are eager to send on-loan midfielder Lazar Markovic back to Liverpool.

Record says Sporting are considering terminating the deal.

They paid £1.3million for a loan fee, and would have to make another payment to send him back with Markovic having not reached the agreed number of games in the deal.

The Serbian has only featured 14 times and was jeered by Sporting fans earlier this term.

Markovic also struggled at Fenerbahce on loan last term.
