Real Madrid has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Nivea for Men in a partnership which will run through to the end of the 2015-16 season, reports SportBusiness.

Real Madrid has agreed a new sponsorship deal with Nivea for Men in a partnership which will run through to the end of the 2015-16 season, reports SportBusiness.

Nivea for Men, a skin care product of the Beiersdorf Group, will feature Madrid stars Sergio Ramos, Marcelo, Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Arbeloa in its advertising campaigns.

Commenting on the new partnership, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said: “The Santiago Bernabeu is home for everyone associated with Real Madrid and is usually the setting for the signing of alliances as important as the one that we will sign today, with which we join together our name with one of the undisputed leading brands in the world.”

Perez added: “As from today Nivea is one of our sponsors and will accompany us through our challenges and towards achieving our goals. We will make the journey together with the aim of being leaders. We are both obsessed with the ongoing effort towards remaining world leaders. We both share a long history of success thanks to a great amount of hard work and the continuous effort and commitment to the ongoing search for talent.”

Perez continued: “Nivea is the world's leading skincare brand and its impressive international success is testament to that leadership. We both share values that are fundamental in our past, our present and essential towards our future strategies. Our alliance will stretch beyond the field of play. Prestigious partnerships like this are part of our strategy in facing up to these difficult times and to help us to achieve our goals.”

Brand manager and Beiersdorf executive board member, Ralph Gusko, added: “We are all very excited about this new sponsorship deal and look forward to the challenges throughout this exciting project. We have our fingers crossed for Real Madrid and hope to have some great experiences side-by-side over the coming years.”
