Rangers today inflicted defeat on Motherwell for the first this season with a 3-0 result at Fir Park. Dunfermline Athletic defeated Dundee United 1-0 courtesy of Paul Burns' 85th minute goal whilst St Mirren came from behind to beat Hibernian 2-1 at Easter Road.
