Scottish Premier League clubs have been told they can expect the rest of a payment normally made pre-season in the next week or so, reports BBC Sport. The SPL was unable to make the original payment because of renegotiated deals with broadcast partners resulting from Rangers' absence from the league.

The league did pay 50% of the monies - £300,000 - towards the end of August.

The clubs have been told the relevant contracts are to be signed off by next week, when the rest will be paid.
