Santi Cazorla was in a buoyant mood after guiding Arsenal to a 2-0 win at Manchester City on Sunday.
The Spanish playmaker ran the show as the Gunners produced a much-needed win and clean sheet over last season's Premier League champions.
Cazorla netted from the penalty spot inside 25 minutes before supplying Olivier Giroud's 67th-minute header from a corner and was thrilled with the showing of Arsene Wenger's men when collecting his Man-of-the-Match award from Sky Sports.
"Today the team have a good spirit," Cazorla told Sky Sports 1. "We need to play the same (in future matches) as this game.
"Today the team played very well and stuck together, which is the most important thing for us.
"We defended well, we had so many chances."
