Matthew Spiranovic has signed with Al Arabi according to the Qatari clubs website.
The 24-year old Australian defender has left Japanese club Urawa Reds to sign a two-year deal with Al Arabi who are based in Doha.
Spiranovic joined Urawa from German club Nuremberg last year following a loan spell in 2010 but struggled for regular game time and has now moved on to Qatar to try his luck in the Middle East.
