Julian Speroni has signed his new one-year Crystal Palace contract.

Both player and club have chosen to activate a contractual clause that will ensure the 36-year-old will spend a 12th campaign at the club.

"I've said many times this is my home, I will retire here if I can," Speroni said on the club's official website.

"I have one more season on my contract and am really enjoying playing in the Premier League."
