Julian Speroni must wait to open new contract talks with Crystal Palace.
The South London Press says the Eagles number one is the longest-serving member of the playing squad but is a free agent at the end of June.
There has been talk that Speroni could move into a player-coaching role if he stays.
But Palace boss Tony Pulis said: "I see Julian playing the next nine games, hopefully keeping us in the Premier League - from that point onwards we'll talk."
