Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni was pleased with their 0-0 draw at QPR.
Speroni was happy with the result as Palace begin life without Neil Warnock.
"I thought both teams had a lot of respect for each other, and both teams didn't want to lose the game," Speroni told the Croydon Advertiser.
"It became tough and it was certainly like a derby match. In the end it was a good point and we could have won it at the end.
"I didn't see what happened properly, just sometimes those decisions go for you or against you.
"It would have been a great result for us but we now think towards Aston Villa."
