Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni is backing the team to break their Premier League survival record this season.

No Eagles team has managed to stay in the top flight for more than a single season.

"If we can stay up then we will make it into the club records," said goalkeeper Speroni "Four times we have gone up and have never been able to stay for a second season. That would the greatest achievement of all for me."
