Sheffield United boss Gary Speed wants to use the transfer market to add some pace in attack. The Blades have scored only five goals in 10 Championship matches and have slipped to 19th position in the table as a result.
Speed, told the South Yorkshire Star: "As a manager, you are always looking to strengthen your squad.
"If there is an opportunity to bring in people who will make that squad better then we will do that.
"We are looking for a forward player with a bit of pace. We have missed Wardy (Jamie Ward) in the last two games as he gives us a different dimension.
"There are lots of players who we are monitoring but we are looking at every area of the pitch to improve."
