Wales coach Gary Speed is eager to work with Liverpool to get the best out of Craig Bellamy.

The Daily Mail says Speed is planning to consult Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish about how best to ensure Bellamy is fit for club and country.

The Wales head coach has described the forward's contribution as vital if his side are to reach the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and says he needs Dalglish's help to protect him.
