Bolton Wanderers player-coach Gary Speed admits it's crucial they keep El Hadji Diouf and Nicolas Anelka after victory over Reading.

The former Wales international, 37, said: "They are quality players. It is a team game but they are our creative players and we want to keep them.

"Dioufy and Nic create and score goals. As long as you've got players like that, you're always going to score goals.

"Dioufy has been excellent all season but, at times against Reading, he was everywhere."
