Spartak Moscow: Spurs cannot expect profit on Pavlyuchenko

Spartak Moscow have told Tottenham to drop their asking price for Roman Pavlyuchenko.

The Russian giants refuse to pay even as much as the £13.8m they received for him in 2008.

Spartak boss Valery Karpin said: "This amount - £15m - is greater than that for which we sold Pavlyuchenko to Tottenham. For that price, we don't intend to sign Roman. What happens next? We'll see."
