Spartak Moscow goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa is remaining hopeful of a move to Tottenham in the summer.
The Croatia international failed medical tests in January due to a knee injury but believes things in summer will be different, especially after holding positive talks with Spurs officials.
"We were talking but we were not able to complete the transfer," Pletikosa told Jutarnji list.
"But we made a deal and will look again at that in the summer and I really hope luck will be on my side this time.
"I was shown a great deal of respect by Tottenham and I am grateful to the coach Harry Redknapp."
