Spartak Moscow players disappointed not to face Tottenham's Pavlyuchenko

Spartak Moscow teammates are disappointed that Tottenham striker Roman Pavlyuchenko will be Cup-tied after they were placed in the same UEFA group.

Spartak midfielder Alexander Pavlenko said: "Our aim is to qualify from the group although it won't be easy. It's a pity Pavlyuchenko can't play in UEFA Cup this season.

"It would be interesting to meet him on the pitch as an opponent - although honestly I still can't imagine Roman in a jersey other than that of Spartak. I hope he'll get over his injury as soon as possible."
