Spartak Moscow are willing to discuss a swap deal with Arsenal for midfielder Romulo. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is seeking to add defensive steel to his midfield and has Romulo under consideration.
The 24 year-old is available from Spartak ahead of the January market.
Russian sources say Arsenal are keen and initial contact has been made with the loan of Gunners duo Francis Coquelin and Yaya Sanogo also discussed.
Spartak rate Romulo at €12 million.
