Sparta Rotterdam midfielder Joshua John priced himself out of a move to Swansea City yesterday.

Swansea had agreed terms with Sparta for the 22 year-old Dutchman and were keen to bring him to England.

But Voetbal International says John's demand of triple his Sparta salary were deemed excessive by Swansea and the move collapsed.
