Sparta Prague goalkeeper Martin Dubravka is interesting Newcastle United.

The Daily Mail says Toon have switched their attentions to Dubravka after Kevin Trapp opted to stay at Paris St Germain.

Rafa Benitez is keen to bring in a goalkeeper on loan and Slovakia international Dubravka is the latest to be considered.

The 28-year-old has impressed for his country in their World Cup qualifying campaign and Benitez is hopeful of reaching an agreement before the weekend.

Karl Darlow and Rob Elliot have shared goalkeeping duties but it is understood Benitez wants to sign a goalkeeper to be No 1.
