QPR boss Mark Hughes has again backed his flops to play their way out of the dropzone.
They take on fellow strugglers Southampton in a battle of the bottom two at Loftus Road this afternoon having managed a paltry four points from 11 games.
Hughes said: "Our hope at the start of the season was to finish in the top half. I still think that is a possibility.
"Obviously we need to start winning quickly and that is our intention this weekend. But we feel we have the capacity and that teams above us will have periods when they will struggle, just like we've done at the beginning."
