Kelme is to sponsor the Chinese Women's National League, the top tier of professional women's soccer in China, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The Spanish sportswear manufacturer has agreed a five-year deal to provide specially designed home and away kits for all the teams in the National League and Women's League One.

The kit designs will incorporate different regional elements, with several of the teams' jerseys, including Nanjing and Hebei, set to adopt the design of a traditional Chinese chi-pao at the neck.

For clubs from north-eastern China, snow elements are being integrated into the designs.

Kelme was formerly a sponsor of Spanish giants Real Madrid and entered the Chinese market in 2005, opening stores in ten cities around China.
