Spanish quartet will help me settle at Swansea says new boy Amat

Jordi Amat is confident he will adapt well to life with Swansea City due to the Spanish clique at the club.

The defender has completed a £2.5million move from Espanyol, joining fellow Spaniard Jose Canas at the Liberty Stadium, with the pair to link up with established Swans Michu, Chico Flores, Pablo Hernandez and Angel Rangel.

"I think I can settle into the club straight away, especially as we have Spanish players here already," Amat told the club's official website.

"I know Pablo Hernandez and Michu already, while Chico and Angel Rangel are very important players here. I also played against Jose Canas last season in La Liga, so I know a lot about him.

"But it's not just that, or the fact Michael Laudrup is manager, it is the way in which the club play. The style here is perfect for me - it is the way I play."
