Spanish coach Paco Jemez is on his way to Mexico.

Jemez has confirmed to EFE that he has an agreement with Cruz Azul.

"There has been an agreement and in principle I would not have had any time to sign the contract, but I do not want to take anything for granted until they make it official because it is not the first time something happens at the last minute," he said.

Jémez, 46, has extensive experience as a coach with teams such as Cartagena, Las Palmas, Cordoba, Rayo Vallecano and Granada.
