Spaniard Victor Fernandez linked with Japan job

Spanish tactician Victor Fernandez is being heavily linked with the vacant Japanese national team coaching position.

The 49-year old former FC Porto, Real Betis, Real Zaragoza and Celta Vigo boss is set to replace Takeshi Okada according to Sports Nippon.

Reports suggest that Fernandez has already come to an agreement with the Japan Football Association and an official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days.
