Former Zenit St Petersburg boss Luciano Spalletti is emerging as favourite for the AC Milan job.
Spalletti is being linked with the Milan post after president Silvio Berlusconi criticised Clarence Seedorf.
According to the Corriere della Sera, Berlusconi also commented off the record: "I have an idea who the next Coach of Milan will be, but I won't tell you."
Spalletti is available after being sacked by Zenit in February.
He will be in Milan next week, though he insists it is a 'personal' matter rather than a business meeting.
