Roma coach Luciano Spalletti is demanding his board secure his players to new contracts.

Christian Panucci and Alberto Aquilani are among those in talks over new deals and Spalletti said: "Instead of thinking about new signings, I wish people would pay more attention to those players I started working with at Roma, seeing as there are some of them whose contracts are due to expire and I consider these figures to be crucial."
