Inter Milan coach Luciano Spalletti has confirmed Andrea Ranocchia can leave.

The Italy defender, having spent last season on-loan with Hull City, is being linked with Watford and Newcastle United.

Spalletti admits he's prepared to see Ranocchia sold.

"Something is missing, especially in defence, but management knows this and we are working on it," said the coach.

"We need to get in two midfielders. After that, Ranocchia will go somewhere else. That's what his position is, despite being an exceptional guy and talented player."
