In-form Real Madrid captain Raul has once again been omitted by Spain coach Luis Aragones for his squad for the Euro 2008 qualifier with Denmark and the friendly with Finland.

The striker remains out of favour with Aragones who has given first call-ups to Valencia defender Raul Albiol and Albert Riera of Espanyol.

Carles Puyol is back in the national side after injury problems.

Spain play Denmark in Aarhus on October 13 before tackling the Finns in Helsinki four days later.
