Chelsea midfielder Juan Mata and Barcelona signing Jordi Alba are both in Spain's Olympics squad.
Coach Luis Milla named a strong squad for the London Games on Tuesday, with Athletic Bilbao forward Iker Munain and Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea also included.
Barcelona trio Martin Montoya, Thiago Alcantara and Cristian Tello also feature, while Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has been called up as well.
Four players from the list will be dropped by Milla on July 21.
