Spain have given up on Barcelona winger Rafinha.

The teenager is the brother of Thiago Alcantara, who has been capped by Spain. The brothers are the sons of Brazil World Cup winner Mazinho.

Spain U19 coach Julen Lopetegui had given Rafinha an extended period to make up his mind, but hadn't received any word from the player.

So after naming his latest squad, it's understood Lopetegui has given up on trying to convince Rafinha to commit to Spain.
